This spring the First Chance U. Foundation is offering 5 Scholarships to deserving High School Seniors.

 

We will be distributing the 5 scholarships in: San Diego (2 Scholarships), Phoenix (1 Scholarship), Seattle (1 Scholarship), and Bay Area (1 Scholarship). Here are the details:

Topic: Describe how COVID-19 shaped your High School experience and how you will use this time period as inspiration for the rest of your life moving forward?

 

Accepted Responses: Essay (1000 word max), Video Response (3-5 min), Drawing

 

Amount per scholarship: $1000

 

Cities Accepting: San Diego (2), Seattle, Phoenix, Bay Area

Application Deadline: May 15th, 2022 11:59pm (Pacific Standard Time)

1. Where should applicants submit their documents?

   • All documents should be submitted to ​fcuscholarships@gmail.com

2. When and how will scholarship winners be notified?

   • The scholarship committee will review all applications within a 4-6 week window and announce the winners by email in the summer of 2022.

3. Who is eligible for these scholarships?

   • High School Seniors who are graduating in 2022

   • Reside in San Diego County (San Diego)

   • Reside in Alameda, San Mateo, or Santa Clara County (Bay Area)

   • Reside in Maricopa County (Phoenix)

   • Reside in King County (Seattle)
